Taylor Swift spilled to CMT her feelings about celebrity gossip blogs: ‘It’s not like you can just make movies and sing songs and people aren’t going to want to know who you’re dating and where you’re eating. I’m curious about that too. I’ll admit that.I don’t have issues with showing up on those blogs, as long as it’s not too mean. It’s like, ‘Yeah, I ate a salad last night. That’s okay if you know that.’ So far the blogs have been really nice to me. I’ve been lucky. I just try to ignore the ‘I hate her, she’s ugly’ ones. When people can be anonymous, they’re vicious and it’s like sixth grade stuff like on crack. It’s terrible.’On being in the spotlight: ‘I just try to have fun no matter who’s got a camera pointed at me. I’m not the girl who goes out to clubs and parties, but if I’m walking down the street with a guy and someone takes a picture, I’m not going to freak out and get my publicist to make them erase it. I live my life in spite of the attention.’
I love that she is so honest. Not sure if it will last so long though. Mainstream fame is coming fast for her now with the release of her new album Fearless. With super intense media coverage she might want more privacy.
